A Farewell Tour of the 2017-2019 In Colors: Berry Burst Healing Hugs Floating Frame Card Part 2
Good Morning crafty people! You may of noticed that I changed the title of my blog. While visiting my team leader when in Utah earlier this month, she asked us to name our teams and Out of the Box Stamping was a name I had been throwing around in my head for a little while. When I told her she thought it was perfect so here is my new blog title!
Yesterday I showed a card I made using the Floating Frame or Press 'n Seal technique. Today I am sharing the middle section of the card I did as it's own card. I did a couple of extra pieces to it to help fill it out. I still continued with my Farewell Tour of the retiring In Colors by using Berry Burst. Here is my card.....
I told you yesterday that the most time consuming part it fussy cutting out all the pieces you are going to use. I stamped about 6 flowers and 7 leaves that I cut out because you don't want to be in the middle of this and not have enough of what you need. Also you don't want to leave the Press 'n Seal on your pieces for very long as it will leave a light tacky layer on the pieces too. To help with this I lightly dusted them with cornstarch or you can use the Embossing Buddy.
The challenge was for something with a wedding or anniversary theme. I completed the front with a sentiment from the stamp set Beautiful Bouquet. You could do this exact card in whatever the brides colors are to make a big impact that happy couple are going to cherish.
I kept the inside simple with just a sweet sentiment and border stamping. I also gave the Whisper White layer another layer of Pear Pizzazz for added color. Don't forget that Berry Burst will be gone soon so if you need ink, cardstock, ribbon get it now before it is gone FOREVER. Thanks so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you to try this really fun technique. Have a great day!
