Wonderful Romance Thinking of You Card
Hey everyone and welcome to my blog! I am so glad that we are finally getting some warmer weather here. I don't do well pain wise when we have really cold weather and the winter storm that we had a week ago was very cold! We spent a few days in the negatives and trust me I didn't leave the house. So these few days in the 50's, and this week we are supposed to be in the 60's, has been so nice. Today I have an elegant card for you using the Wonderful Romance Bundle.
I absolutely love the DSP (Designer Series Paper) that goes with this whole suite, especially the vellum pieces you get in it. I knew I wanted to use one of them as the background on this card against the Whisper White card base. In the Framelits from this bundle there is this really beautiful petal and latticed piece that you can put on the edge of your card like I did. It has some gorgeous detailing on it too.
I have really fallen in love with the Stampin' Blends. I will admit that at first I was a little hesitant to get them, then my team leader had an online party and we needed to get some for the cards we were going to be making. Once I used them I had to get them ALL! I had so much fun creating the flowers for this card. I stamped it in Fresh Fig and colored it in with the Dark Petal Pink Blend. Then I took the Light Rich Razzleberry Blend and very lightly colored the center and drug the color out into the petals to achieve the two-toned look.
I stamped the same colors on the inside as well. I also added a layer of Pear Pizzazz to break up the whiteness. I always love to stamp the inside as it tells the recipient how much you really care for them and what they mean to you that you took the time to make them this beautiful, elegant card. Thanks for coming to my blog and I hope you have a great day! Don't forget to sign up for my newsletter!
