Healing Hugs Sympathy Card
Hello people! How is your week starting off? We had a baby shower this past Sunday that was so much fun. It was for my youngest son's wife. We had it St. Paddy's Day themed. The weather was perfect which made it so nice. I noticed last night on the news that the flu is making it's rounds again so I thought I would share a simple sympathy card I made with the Healing Hugs stamp set. Here it is.....
This stamp set is a special one because it is called a DistINKtive® stamp. Stampin' Up! took actual pics of things and using a new technique was able to create multi-layered stamps all in one stamp! When you stamp these kind of stamps you get the highlights and shadows in each stamping. No more trying to match up several stamps to get the same effect. These types are amazing and make stamping simple again.
I fussy cut out the leaves so I could tuck them behind my flower. I also made a "bird's nest" with the Copper Metallic Thread and placed it behind the flower too. I used the Rectangle Stitched Framelits for my sentiment and since there wasn't one the exact length of my sentiment I used a longer one and stamped it closer to one edge and then cut off the extra and hid the cut under the leaves and flower.
I stamped the inside with a get well sentiment and added some of the other stamps in this set in the lower corner for more pops of color. Any one of your friends, family, or coworkers would love to receive this very caring sympathy card letting them know that you care. Thanks for coming to my blog today and I hope you come back soon to see what I have made next!
I have this bag and it is so AMAZING!!! And you can ONLY get it if you sign up and choose Option 2. Click here to find out more and to sign up as a demo and become a part of my team!
