A Farewell Tour of the 2017-2019 In Colors: Tranquil Tide Geared Up Garage Father's Day Card
Hello again! It is finally the weekend...YAY! Any fun plans? I'm going to spend it cleaning out my closet because the shelf broke and now everything in on the ground.....what fun, not! I am continuing my Farewell Tour with the retired In Color Tranquil Tide today and I'm using the same stamp set as I did on Thursday post, Geared Up Garage. Here is my card.....
When I made my last card with this stamp set I wanted to keep using it to make a Father"s Day card. The dies that go with this stamp are so amazing! You get a bunch of little gear dies plus a big one which I featured on the front of my card. I used the Silver Foil paper for a more authentic gear color.
I used the Corrugated embossing folder on a piece of Tranquil Tide for more texture and a great background. I heat embossed my sentiment and die cut it with the Rectangle Stitched dies and created the flag tip too. I am so happy that the Classic Garage Metal Elements are continuing into the new Annual Catalog. I adhere mine with glue dots for a strong bond.
A simple look on the inside with a Happy Father's Day sentiment and some nuts scattered in two corners. I think any dad would love to get this card. This is one AMAZING kit!!! We got to see this at OnStage last month and I fell in love instantly, especially when they said "Rose Gold!" I have order this kit and it is even more spectacular.
