A Farewell Tour of the 2017-2019 In Colors: Powder Pink To A Wild Rose Friend Card
Hey crafty people.....I'm back! Boy these last two weeks were busy. First, I live in a townhouse style apartment and two weeks ago we got a notice, at the last minute, that the state was coming to do their annual inspections so that sent my husband and I on a cleaning spree. Now our house wasn't a disaster, but it did need a good clean and if I was going to deep clean then I was going to go through everything and get rid of anything I was no longer using or wearing. Four trash bags later of just clothes and I was finally making a dent. Lol. By the time we were done our house looked spectacular. Then I had an allergy attack from all the dust that was stirred up. What fun!
On to my card.....I decided to combine some new items with continuing and retiring things. Here is my card.....
I only wanted to use 1 stamp pad to stamp the rose so I did a second generation stamp by stamping off once before I stamped the background of the rose. Then I stamped the ink full strength for the second rose stamp. I did the exact same thing for the leaves and the Mossy Meadow stamp pad. Finally I stamped the black outline.
For a different look I decided to use the Corrugated embossing folder at a slight angle.....not quite at a diagonal but somewhere between the two. I also heat embossed the sentiment with Silver Embossing powder to match the Silver Foil layer. I also placed some of the pearls on my card front as well.
For the inside I just simply stamped the leaf in the corner and a cute sentiment to a friend. I added a thin layer of Powder Pink cardstock for some more color. I hope you are all doing great and your families. Thank you so much for coming to my blog and come back tomorrow as I will have another card using a new In Color! Have a great week!
