A Farewell Tour of the 2017-2019 In Colors: Tranquil Tide Country Road Birthday Card
Hi everyone! How was your weekend? I actually got more done then I thought I would. You know that saying it always get worse before it gets better? Well, that is the state of my craft room right now. As I'm cleaning one area out the other areas are being overloaded because I'm moving somethings around. I will get it all cleaned out eventually.....I hope.
Well, for today I am continuing my Farewell Tour of the retiring 2017-2019 In Colors and this week I'm focusing on Tranquil Tide. Today I have a fun card I did with some heat embossing as the star. Here is my card.....
Heat embossing has to be one of my most favorite techniques to do. It gives such an amazing outcome. I do recommend using the Embossing Buddy, especially if you live in a more drier climate because the powder will stick to the areas you don't want it to because of static electricity. You can even do heat embossing on foil paper for a real stunning look.
For the twine that goes around the card, I took a piece of the Rich Razzleberry twine from the Nature Twine set and separated it into individual strands. I combined a few together and wrapped it around the whole card front and tied it in the front.
For the inside I kept it very simple that way this card could easily be given to your favorite country man in your life! With a simple sentiment and a wagon wheel in the corner it is perfect. Thank you so much for looking at my blog and card today. I hope you stick around and check out a few of my other creations. And please come back to see what I just might make for my next project! Have a great day!!
