Peaceful Noel/Farmhouse Christmas Card

     Hi and welcome back to my blog. It's Friday.....Yea. Any plans this weekend? I'm just going to work on my craft room as it has gotten a little messy. With having the neck surgery I have had to let some things go as I am not aloud to do certain things. So I am going to work on that. Today for you I have a combo of two stamp sets on one card, Peaceful Noel and Farmhouse Christmas.

     I used the Seasonal Wreath TIEF and then decided to paint the smaller leaves with the new Copper Shimmer Paint. Then I embellished it a little more by coloring some Basic Rhinestones with the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends and placing them around.

     I knew I wanted to place my sentiment in the center of the wreath so I chose one from the Farmhouse Christmas stamp set. I also wanted to highlight some of the beautiful Joyous Noel Specialty DSP (Designer Series Paper) and very shimmery Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper. On some of the pieces of the DSP there is copper foil too. I thought this white piece let the wreath just shine.

     I used the punch available in the Peaceful Noel Bundle to punch out the stems in Copper Foil paper. I wrapped some White Twine around them for more fun.

     I used Peaceful Noel stamp set to stamp the inside of the card. I used all the colors that coordinate with the Joyous Noel DSP. I stamped off once with Merry Merlot to do the inside of the berries.

Cupcake Card

     Here is the latest project I did for National Scrapbooking Day. I wanted something to celebrate the day but also something bright and cheerful. I think this card fits the bill just perfect.      I started with cutting a piece of Melon Mambo in half then folded the card in half for my card base. I then cut a piece of Daffodil Delight to 3-3/4" x 5" and a piece of Whisper White to 3-1/2" x 4-3/4". I glued the Whisper White onto the Daffodil Delight. I stamped the Celebrate You onto the layered Whisper White. I then got started on the cupcakes. First, I stamped all the  components of the cupcakes onto a piece of Whisper White. Next, I used the Cupcake Builder punch and punched out all the pieces. I then used some Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the cupcake pieces. Yet Another Butterfly Card

Welcome, welcome to my blog. I hope you are having a great day to far. Today, I have another butterfly card for you using the Butterfly Basics stamp set from Stampin' Up! and the Butterflies Thinlits that I used on my Big Shot to cut out. I first used a piece of So Saffron and cut it in half to make the card base. I then cut a piece of Calypso Coral to 5-1/4" x 4" and a piece of Whisper White to 5" x 3-3/4". I first stamped the leaves from the stamp set in Pear Pizzazz on the piece of Whisper White. Next, I stamped the honeycomb in So Saffron in the upper left corner and the date stamp in early Espresso on top. Then I stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral in the lower right corner under the leaves. Now onto the butterflies. I stamped the twp smaller butterflies onto a piece of Whisper White. I then punched the smallest butterfly out. Next, I used my Big Shot to cut out the large butterfly in both Lost Lagoon and Vellum. Then I adhered the layers together and...

Watercolored Sorry Card - Kylie Bertucci's International Highlights Challenge

     Hello everyone! Today I have another special blog post for you. Kylie Bertucci, a Stampin' Up! demonstrator in Australia, has invited demonstrators from around the world to take part in a fun international highlight blog. And here is my card! The theme this month was "Sorry" so I thought of the Ribbon for Courage stamp set. Patty Bennett created this stamp when she reached $1 million in sales and it is honor of her mother who she lost to cancer.      I started with the Lovely Floral Dynamic Textures Impression Folder and used Watercolor paper. I used the Aqua Painters to put the ink exactly where I wanted it. When I was finished watercoloring I then watered down a couple drops of the Shimmer Paint in Frost White and painted it over the areas where I had watercolored.      I stamped my sentiment and then layered it and placed it onto the card over some of the Nature's Twine in Grapefruit Grove.
