Country Home Card

     Hi everyone! How is your weekend going so far? I'm still taking it easy since my neck surgery on the 7th, but still continuing to improve and heal. The pain is getting better each day, though I recommend never sneezing after having neck surgery...quite painful, lol. Today for you I have something from the new Holiday catalog! This stamp set has been so popular because of the endless coloring options and the mix-n-matching you can do with the cans and flowers. Here is my card...


     When using the Stampin' Blends you need to use the Tuxedo Black Memento so that the black don't bleed. I used colors of Fall to color the flowers. Also, another very popular item from the Holiday catalog has been these Chicken Wire Elements. One side is silver colored and the other is white so you can easily color them any color. And you can cut them apart so if you don't want to use a whole sheet on something you have that option.

     I stamped the inside as well. Mimicking the tile embossing on the outside I stamped the tile stamp on the four corners. Then a beautiful sentiment in the upper middle. Because this stamp set is photopolymer it makes it really easy to line everything up.

Here is my card.....      I was inspired to make this card from another card marker. I have always loved the Little Twinkle stamp set and knew that this was more then just for babies. By combining it with the Well Said Bundle I'm telling my loved one that our love was written in the stars.      I heat embossed the background first then watercolored it. Beauty Abounds Card - Kylie's Training Group Blog Hop

     Hello again everyone! It has been a bit since my last post. Things got really crazy right before Christmas and then we went on a 2 week vacay. Well, I spent most of that vacation sick with a terrible cold that caused me to get a sinus infection. NOT FUN!!! But I am back today with a really fun post. I am participating in a Blog Hop with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the globe. You may or may not know but this past week on Jan 3rd the new Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs were released and boy are they amazing! I wanted to spotlight the beautiful bundle Beauty Abounds. Here is my card...      What is really cool about this card is that it uses a DSP (Designer Series Paper) from the Sale-A-Bration catalog that if you got this bundle you could get for FREE!!
