Painted Harvest Autumn/Fall Card

Hello everyone! Long time, no blog. Quick explanations...first I was on vacation for the end of July and almost 2/3rds of August. Second, I had neck surgery. Right when I got back from vacay I went and saw a neurosurgeon for the bone spur that was half way into my spinal cord in my neck and he agreed that surgery was needed. Plus, I could also get my neurostimulator battery changed at the same time. I wanted the one that you don't have to charge. So on Sept 7th I underwent the knife and boy it has been so much better! I was losing feeling and function in my arms, especially my right arm, and having daily migraines. I could barely function everyday. Though I am recovering from a little added pain, being to use my hands again has been life changing. On to my card...

I used the stamp set Painted Harvest from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog. I have loved this stamp set since it first debuted in last years Holiday Catalog. The color variants you could do are endless with this sunflower stamp. Here I chose Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze. A tip is to always use the lighter color for the first stamp and the darker color for the second one. I did the same thing for the leaves using Old Olive and Mint Macaron.

For the greeting I used only one part of one of the sentiments in this stamp set. I did this by using Post-Its to block off the part I didn't want. Also to color the rhinestones I used one of the new Stampin' Blends in Dark Crumb Cake. The color doesn't rub off either!

For the inside I just stamped the two corners in the same colors as the front sunflower. And there you have it, a beautiful card for the harvest season.

Hugs,

Julie

Here is what I used...
