Daisy Lane Smile Card - CASE the Catalog
Hi crafty people!!! How has your week been? I have been a little absent from here as it has just been a hard couple of weeks lately, but I am ready to start posting projects again. When my neck/shoulders starts hurting the only thing that helps the pain is to lay down and take the weight of my head off of them. This can be a major pain when you want to get things done. But I seem to be having a reprieve right now so here is today's card.....

I started with stamping the daisies and punching them out. I made two of the larger daisies and one medium one. I glued the three of them together and set them aside. Next, I took a piece of the Fluid Watercolor paper and lightly watercolor some Pear Pizzazz ink onto it. Once it was dry, I stamped the daisies, stems and leaves around the front. I then took and spritzed some water onto the paper to let the ink run a little and set this aside to dry.
Next I stamped the "Smile" sentiment onto Pear Pizzazz cardstock and flagged one end. I stamped the smaller sentiment two times and then cut each word out. If you stamp it twice it makes it easier to cut out and leave some space on each side of the words. I glued the watercolor piece onto some Flowers for Every Season DSP (Designer Series Paper) at a slight angle and then tied some of the ribbon around it. I glued this to my Crumb Cake card base. I put down the Pear Pizzazz piece next with Dimensionals. I placed the daisy onto and glued down the word pieces. For a little bling I placed a Gilded Gem onto the daisy.
For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping one of the daisies and it's stem in one of the corners. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
