Blossoms In Bloom Get Well Soon Watercolor Card
Hi everyone!!! How are all of you? Is it hot where you live? Our temps have been up there, but our monsoons are finally coming in and we are getting some much needed rain. It rained most of the day yesterday which was a very nice change from the heat. Everything will start to turn green again too. Let's get on to my card for today.....
One of my favorite things to do with these types of dies is to watercolor the base piece then pick a contrasting color to die cut the top piece. The Blossoms In Bloom bundle is perfect for this technique. I used three different ink colors for the watercoloring. When I was happy with it, I set it aside to dry. Once dry I die it out.
For the top layer I first put a piece of the Adhesive Sheets on the back of some Basic Black cardstock, die cut it out then adhered it onto the watercolored piece. Next, I used the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder on a piece of Whisper White cardstock. I glued my flower piece down to it then layered it into a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock. I then put this whole thing onto a Daffodil Delight card base. I placed some rhinestones around too.
For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping some of the flowers using the same ink colors I used for the watercoloring and my sentiment. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you to try something crafty today! Have a great day.
