Celebrate Sunflowers Congrats Card - CASE the Catalog Friday

   Hello crafty people! I know it has been a bit since my last post and I'm sorry. For the last couple weeks my creative mojo just went out of the window and I just didn't feel like crafting. Then I realized why.....my grandmother's birthday was a few days ago. She passed away almost 15 yrs ago and we were so close. I miss her like crazy too. It happens every year around her birthday and the day she passed which is in a couple months. But let's get to today's card.....

     When I saw this card I thought it would be perfect for any small image in the catalog so I decided to use the smaller sunflower. I stamped it and used the Stampin' Blends to color it. I die cut it out using the Stitched Shapes dies.

     I cut a piece of the Flowers for Every Season DSP (Designer Series Paper) to 1-1/2" x 5-1/2" and then stamped my sentiment on the right side. Next I die cut some of the same DSP using the two smaller squares from the same die set. I glued them down randomly and then popped the strip up with Dimensionals. I took some of the Bumblebee ribbon and placed it down and then my sunflower piece on top.

    For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping the leaf stamp on opposite corners. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Here is my card.....      I was inspired to make this card from another card marker. I have always loved the Little Twinkle stamp set and knew that this was more then just for babies. By combining it with the Well Said Bundle I'm telling my loved one that our love was written in the stars.      I heat embossed the background first then watercolored it. Beauty Abounds Card - Kylie's Training Group Blog Hop

     Hello again everyone! It has been a bit since my last post. Things got really crazy right before Christmas and then we went on a 2 week vacay. Well, I spent most of that vacation sick with a terrible cold that caused me to get a sinus infection. NOT FUN!!! But I am back today with a really fun post. I am participating in a Blog Hop with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the globe. You may or may not know but this past week on Jan 3rd the new Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs were released and boy are they amazing! I wanted to spotlight the beautiful bundle Beauty Abounds. Here is my card...      What is really cool about this card is that it uses a DSP (Designer Series Paper) from the Sale-A-Bration catalog that if you got this bundle you could get for FREE!!
