Power of Hope Sale-A-Bration Bundle Card - CASE'ing The SAB Catalog
Hi crafty people!!! After a month and a half hiatus I'm finally back to blogging and my Stampin' Up! crafting. Life has not been easy. At the beginning of December I developed pretty bad depression for some unknown reason. Now I do have depression that goes along with my back and neck issues that is just situational, but this was something different and I lost all desire to craft. This really sucks right before the Holidays. Then while on vacation in California, my husband broke a tooth and ended up in the hospital for 4 days with an abscess and infection. He is doing much better now and we are getting the tooth fixed. So it has been a roller coaster ride. Let's get onto today's card.....
If you haven't seen the new Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration catalog one of the items you can get for free is the Power of Hope stamp set and Stone embossing folder bundle. This is a beautiful oriental inspired stamp set and gorgeous stone-look embossing folder.
I first started with embossing the cardstock with the Stone embossing folder, then I swiped the Versamark ink pad across it randomly and put some gold embossing powder on it. Next, I fussy cut out the bird from the Bird Balled DSP (Designer Series Paper). I also decided to use a sentiment from the Power of Hope stamp set instead of the Free As A Bird stamp set.
For the inside I just heat embossed the tree stamp from the same set in the bottom corner in gold as well.
