Painted Poppies Watercolored Sympathy Card

Hello everyone! How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun? We just took it easy. I did some house chores but mainly worked on projects for this blog and other things. I am loving using the product from the new Stampin' Up! 2020 Mini catalog. The Poppies Suite has been one of the more popular too. Here is today's card.....

The Peaceful Poppies DSP (Designer Series Paper) is so beautiful and has an amazing watercolored look to it. Did you know that if you join my team during Sale-A-Bration you get a cute 6" mini paper cutter, a sampler pack of 6"x 6" DSP from both the 2020 Mini and Sale-A-Bration catalogs, and a stamp set of your choice. Click here to find out more!

I initially did this card for a creative challenge on a Facebook group I belong too and knew I wanted to share it with all of you. I started with doing a watercolor look with one of the stamps. I did stamp it onto a piece of the Watercolor paper, then used the Aqua Painter to fill it in. Tip: Let the flower dry first before watercoloring Pool Party on the background. This will keep the color from bleeding into each other as much.

For the inside I kept it simple with just a poppy stamped in the bottom corner and my sympathy sentiment up top. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card today, I have included them all down below. Just click on the item to be taken to my online store. Thanks for coming to blog and I hope you have a great day!!!

Hugs,

Julie
