Bonanza Buddies Birthday Card
Hi crafty people! How is your week going so far? Can you believe that January is almost over??? 2020 has just started and the first month is almost over! On my team leaders Facebook team page, she gave us a color challenge this month using Bermuda Bay, Mango Melody, and Basic Black. Here is what I created.....
I really love these colors together and thought they were perfect for a birthday card so I decided to use the new stamp and die set from the new 2020 Mini catalog. This is such a cute set with the animals and beautiful DSP (Designer Series Paper) though I did make my own DSP for this project.
I just started with one of the colors and one of the present stamps in a corner and moved out from there. I wanted each present to be a certain color and I didn't have any rhyme or reason as I moved along and even rotated the stamps to get different looks with them. For the tag, I stamped the lion and added some of the twine and sequins that are a Sale-A-Bration item that you can get for free with a qualifying $50 order before tax and shipping. For the ribbon, I took the Whisper White Crinkle ribbon and colored it with the Stampin' Blends marker in Mango Melody. Great tip when you want a ribbon in a certain color.
For the inside I just stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment and one of the present stamps again this time adding the bow that goes with it. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all below. Just click on any item to be taken to my online store.
Thanks so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you to make your own DSP on your next project. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about joining my Stampin' Up! team just email me at scrapnmom@live.com. Have a great day!!!
