Lovely Lily Pad Birthday Card Sale-A-Bration Items

   Hi crafty people! It's the last Monday of the month. I can't believe that January is almost over. My younger son's birthday is this week and he will be 27. They grow up so fast. I can't believe his son will be 1 year old in April! Let's get onto today's card.....

   Have you seen the new Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration catalog yet? There are some amazing items in there and you can get them all for free with a qualifying order starting at $50 before tax and shipping. I used the Lovely Lily stamp set and coordinating Lily Pad dies plus the Lily Impressions DSP on this card today.

   I decided to heat emboss some of the Shimmer White embossing powder onto some Vellum. I then die cut the lily out. I love the look of embossed Vellum and the Shimmer White adds the right amount of sparkle. Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and then die cut it out with the Stitched Nested dies. I put this whole piece onto a piece of the Lily Impressions DSP (Designer Series Paper) that you can also get for free.

   For the inside I stamped another lily in the corner and one special thing about this stamp set is they are reversible! So you just turn the stamp over and stamp the solid piece. I love this! Here is my card.....      I was inspired to make this card from another card marker. I have always loved the Little Twinkle stamp set and knew that this was more then just for babies. By combining it with the Well Said Bundle I'm telling my loved one that our love was written in the stars.      I heat embossed the background first then watercolored it. First Frost Valentine's Day Card - Kylie's Training Blog Hop

     Hello again! It's that time of the month again for a fabulous blog hop from Kylie's Training Group. These are so much fun because you get to see so much inspiration from demos around the world. And with Valentine's Day just a few days away I wanted to share with you a fun card I did that anyone would love to receive on that special day or any other special day. Here it is.....      I started with using the embossing paste mixed with a little of the Flirty Flamingo reinker. Did you know you could do that??? You can make it any color you want to match your project! Remember though that a little goes a long way.
