Lovely Lily Pad Birthday Card Sale-A-Bration Items

   Hi crafty people! It's the last Monday of the month. I can't believe that January is almost over. My younger son's birthday is this week and he will be 27. They grow up so fast. I can't believe his son will be 1 year old in April! Let's get onto today's card.....

   Have you seen the new Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration catalog yet? I used the Lovely Lily stamp set and coordinating Lily Pad dies plus the Lily Impressions DSP on this card today.

   I decided to heat emboss some of the Shimmer White embossing powder onto some Vellum. I then die cut the lily out. I love the look of embossed Vellum and the Shimmer White adds the right amount of sparkle. Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and then die cut it out with the Stitched Nested dies. I put this whole piece onto a piece of the Lily Impressions DSP (Designer Series Paper) that you can also get for free.

   For the inside I stamped another lily in the corner and one special thing about this stamp set is they are reversible! So you just turn the stamp over and stamp the solid piece. I love this! Flashback Friday- Amazing Life Card

     Hi readers! I have a treat for you today. Lately I have been noticing some stampers posting the very first card they made and then compared it to a cards they are making now to see how far they have advanced. This one was a little hard at first because I had been making cards with my Cricut for 8 yrs before I started Stampin' Up!, but I decided for this flashback I would use my first stamping card. First Frost Valentine's Day Card - Kylie's Training Blog Hop

     Hello again! It's that time of the month again for a fabulous blog hop from Kylie's Training Group. These are so much fun because you get to see so much inspiration from demos around the world. And with Valentine's Day just a few days away I wanted to share with you a fun card I did that anyone would love to receive on that special day or any other special day. Here it is.....      I started with using the embossing paste mixed with a little of the Flirty Flamingo reinker. Did you know you could do that??? You can make it any color you want to match your project! Remember though that a little goes a long way. Beautiful Autumn Grateful Card - September Blogging Friends Blog Hop - Harvest Moon

     Hello crafty people!!! I have a special treat for you today.....I'm part of the Blogging Friends Blog Hop and this month's theme is the Harvest Moon where we are going to share projects with an Autumn theme. I love being a part of blog hops because you get a chance to see projects from Stampin' Up! demos from around the world and all the wonderful ideas they bring. Let's get onto today's card.....      I started with stamping all the solid portions of the leaves and acorns on a piece of Whisper White cardstock. Then I stamped the outlines on top using Early Espresso and Crumb Cake inks. I glued this layer onto a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock. I heat embossed my sentiment onto some Mint Macaron cardstock and then die cut it out using the Stitched Nested dies.      Next,  I wrapped some of the Metallic ribbon around the stamped layer and then glued it down to my Thick Whisper White card base.
