Lovely Lily Pad Birthday Card Sale-A-Bration Items

Hi crafty people! It's the last Monday of the month. I can't believe that January is almost over. My younger son's birthday is this week and he will be 27. They grow up so fast. I can't believe his son will be 1 year old in April! Let's get onto today's card.....

I used the Lovely Lily stamp set and coordinating Lily Pad dies plus the Lily Impressions DSP on this card today.

I decided to heat emboss some of the Shimmer White embossing powder onto some Vellum. I then die cut the lily out. I love the look of embossed Vellum and the Shimmer White adds the right amount of sparkle. Next, I stamped my sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and then die cut it out with the Stitched Nested dies. I put this whole piece onto a piece of the Lily Impressions DSP (Designer Series Paper) that you can also get for free.

For the inside I stamped another lily in the corner and one special thing about this stamp set is they are reversible! So you just turn the stamp over and stamp the solid piece. I love this!
