Another Wonderful Moments Pregnancy Card

   Hi all you wonderful people! How have you been? Happy Hump Day! Today for you I have a card that I did with the amazing stamp set Wonderful Moments from Stampin' Up!. You may of seen my other card I made with this set a couple of weeks ago with the bride. I wanted to another similar look to this card as well.


     I heat embossed again with white embossing powder. And instead of coloring only a part of the background, this time I watercolored the whole thing. I used Sahara Sand for this part. The Aqua Painters are any crafters must have. I then colored the mom with Melon Mambo and Soft Suede.


     I am so loving the Delightfully Detailed DSP (Designer Series Paper)! There are so many different ways to use it. Here I cut a piece to place along the bottom. I also used Stampin' Up!'s new Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. It is so amazing! For any of the Dynamic folders I recommend first very lightly spraying your paper with water before embossing. This allows the paper to bend easier. Works beautifully!


     Of course I have to let the mom know that I can't wait to meet the new baby so I placed the sentiment inside along with some decorative stamping. It always adds an extra touch of special when you line your cards no matter what color they are.

Here is my card.....      I was inspired to make this card from another card marker. I have always loved the Little Twinkle stamp set and knew that this was more then just for babies. By combining it with the Well Said Bundle I'm telling my loved one that our love was written in the stars.      I heat embossed the background first then watercolored it. Global Design Project #086-Sketch Challenge

     Hello again...how have you all been? I hope all you mothers out there are having a great Mother's Day today and enjoying a day all to yourself. My boys have both wished me a Happy Mother's Day today, and I will call my mom in just a little bit. I did make her a card along with my two sister-in-laws which I will post this week. I think they turned out pretty cute. I made a goal starting May 1st to send out a handmade card to all my family members for the various holidays and birthdays that happen in the year. I'm a little late with my Mother's Day cards but they are going in the mail tomorrow for sure.      Speaking of handmade cards, I have a new card for you to see today for the Global Design Project Challenge. It is also for one of my niece's birthdays. This week on GDP the challenge is a sketch. I'm not sure if I like sketches too much.      Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great week so far. Today I have a special post for you...an Aim for Alaska new Stampin' Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalog Sneak Peek Blog Hop!
