Ride With Me Halloween Card
Hello everyone! How is your week going so far? Pretty good here, except for the allergies still bugging me. We had our first frost last week (17°F) and now most of our outside plants are heading into hibernation. We did lose the tomatoes and cucumbers, but that was expected. Do you have a garden or plants? Let's get onto today's really cute and fun Halloween card.....
Now, because I love Halloween so much I thought this idea was perfect for it. I already had the idea for the truck with the pumpkins, but while I was making it I remembered about the skeletons in the Sept Paper Pumpkin and wondered if they would fit in the truck.....they do! I did cut the legs to fit better, but it looks so adorable.
For the background I watercolored it from light to dark to represent a sunset. I also used the house and tree stamp from the stamp set From Our House To Yours to be silhouetted in the background. The pumpkins were colored using the Stampin' Blends.
For the inside I simply stamped the pumpkins and a sentiment in Pumpkin Pie. I also added the Whisper White to make it easier to stamp and write a message on.
