To A Wild Rose Card - CASE the Catalog Friday
Hello crafty people! How has your week gone? I still feel like I'm playing catch up after coming home from a mini vacay. My husband and I went to Laughlin and Vegas to visit old high school friends, it's something we have been doing for 4 years now and I always look forward to it, but I feel like I need a vacation from my vacation afterwards. Lol. Let's get on to today's card.....
In the live I did on Facebook showing how I made this card, I also showed how to mask items off to give the illusion that the flowers are behind each other. This is fairly easy when there are dies, but can be done simply by fussy cutting. I started with a layer of Whisper White cut to 4"x 5-1/4".
I always like to stamp the inside of my cards as it gives it so much more personality. I used the exact same technique of how I stamped the leaves on the front as inside the card and leaving one leaf uncolored.
This is the card I made on the Live yesterday. I changed up the colors a bit for something different, but still kept the same layout. I also showed how to mask off words in sentiments to make a custom sentiment for your projects. Here is the video of the Facebook Live.
This card was so fun to create and I hope I have inspired you to look at the catalogs differently and to see all the incredible inspiration that can be found among the pages. Join my each Thursday at 5pm MST on my Facebook page to see what I am CASE'ing next. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make either card I have them all listed below. Just click on the pics to be taken to my online store. Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope you have a great day and weekend!

Pg. 140 of the Annual Catalog
I loved the simplicity of this card which is one reason why I was drawn to it. I really love the sentiment the most as it stands out from the card but is still connected through color. In the live I did on Facebook showing how I made this card, I also showed how to mask items off to give the illusion that the flowers are behind each other. This is fairly easy when there are dies, but can be done simply by fussy cutting. I started with a layer of Whisper White cut to 4"x 5-1/4".
