Christmas Time Is Here Suite Watercolor Christmas Card

   Hello everyone! How is your week going so far? We are still waiting on car parts to fix our car, they should be here tomorrow hopefully. You never know how much you need your vehicle until it breaks down. We have had some wonderful friends and neighbors helping us through this. Let's get on to today's card......

   You may of heard that on Nov 1st the Christmas Time Is Here Suite will be available to customers and all I can say is this suite is absolutely gorgeous! Please remember that all the items are on a limited amount and could sellout quick.

   I decided to try a watercolor technique with this stamp set. I heat embossed in gold first as it helps with keeping the colors inside the areas you want them. It also adds an elegant to it too. I heat embossed the sentiment as well in white on top of a piece of Merry Merlot.

   I started with the rose and using Merry Merlot in the areas of the flower where there would be shadows and worked the color out with Flirty Flamingo. I used Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive on the leaves and needles with Soft Suede on the Pine cones. For the berries I did use the Poppy Parade Dark Stampin' Blend to keep the color more vibrant.

   For the inside I stamped a sentiment and added some leaves in Pear Pizzazz in the corners. I also added a layer of Merry Merlot to break up the white.
