Hello crafty people!!! I know I have been absent the last couple weeks, but that was due to me being sick. I had a cold, cough, and sore throat, but I did get tested and it came back negative so that's all good. Well, last week I had my 50th birthday and I would like to thank everyone for all the wonderful birthday wishes as they meant the world to me. I thought in honor of my birthday I would share with all of you one of my fave projects from the catalog for my CASE today. Let's get on to today's card.....

I started with embossing the background. I took the Whisper White ink pad and ran it over the raised side of the embossing folder. This way when you put the paper through the ink will be in the grooves like in this card. I also embossed a small piece of Vellum with the same Seabed embossing folder. Once the ink was dry I glued it to my Blackberry Bliss card base. I took the Vellum piece and wrapped some of the ribbon around it and glues it to the card base too.
I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 2-1/4"x 3" and stamped the seaweed, coral , and seahorses onto it. I stamped another seahorse onto a scrape piece of cardstock and then fussy cut it out. I then added this layer onto my card using Dimensionals. I placed the seahorse on too. I then heat embossed my sentiment onto another scrap piece and cut it out and placed it onto the card too. I tied a bow with the ribbon and glued it on my card. I placed several sequins around the card just like the original.
For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping the seaweed, coral, and a seahorse in the bottom corner. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
