Non-Traditional Colors Beautiful Bouquet Valentine's Day Card

Hello readers and thank you for stopping by my blog today. Can you believe that Valentine's Day is only next week??? I made a challenge for myself the other day while I was crafting and it was to make a non-traditional colors Valentine's Day card. When you think of V-Day colors it is usually of red, pink, and white. Well, I wanted to do something different and this is what I came up with.....
Now I would of never thought to put these colors together, but while I was contemplating the colors I wanted to try for this challenge I looked at my stamp pads which sit right in front of me at my craft desk and starting putting together colors I hadn't tried before.

I kept this card simple, but I added a little something by heat embossing the flowers using the 2018-2020 In Color Embossing Powders. Since one of my chosen colors was Grapefruit Grove this was perfect. I really liked the brightness of this color with the softness of Soft Sea Foam. They go so magically together.
As you can see the stamped the inside as well to carry the sentiment and the colors in. I never like to leave the inside "naked" as it tells the loved one how much you care for them and they will have a hard time accepting that you did make this card. Thanks again for coming and I hope I have inspired you to take a chance with a different color combo then the norm.
Hugs,

Julie
