Butterflies Card

     Hi and welcome to my blog! Do you love butterflies? Have you noticed how much they are showing up in fashion, art, and such. They sure have become popular right now and are extremely trendy. That is why I created this card. I used two new stamp sets from Stampin' Up!'s new 2015-2016 catalog. They are You've Got This and Watercolor Wings Bundle which comes with framelits. I used the background stamp from You've Got This in Pool Party. Then I stamped the butterflies in three steps. First in Pool Party. Next, in Bermuda Bay. Finally, in Lost Lagoon. What a beautiful color combo this is. They play off of each other perfectly. Next, I die cut them out using the Big Shot and Bold Butterfly Framelits. I then stamped the sentiment, from Watercolor Wishes, in Lost Lagoon. Next, I placed the butterflies onto the card base and popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I then placed a rhinestone on each one. Here are all the items I used:

First Frost Valentine's Day Card - Kylie's Training Blog Hop

     Hello again! It's that time of the month again for a fabulous blog hop from Kylie's Training Group. These are so much fun because you get to see so much inspiration from demos around the world. And with Valentine's Day just a few days away I wanted to share with you a fun card I did that anyone would love to receive on that special day or any other special day. Here it is.....      I started with using the embossing paste mixed with a little of the Flirty Flamingo reinker. Did you know you could do that??? You can make it any color you want to match your project! Remember though that a little goes a long way. I then used the stamp set First Frost that was carried over form the Holiday catalog and matching dies to make a whole bunch of flowers in different colors.      I also used the Meant To Be stamp set and matching dies to stamp and cut some of the hearts as well as the sentiment. Little Twilight Love Was Written In The Stars Card - Kylie's Training Blog Hop

     Hello again crafty people! It's that time again for another blog hop with demonstrators from around the whole world who are part of Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Group. These hops are so fun because you can find inspiration and creativity from so many different people all over the globe. Lost your creative mojo or just don't where to get started then you need to check out each person on this hop to get those crafty ideas flowing. Here is my card.....      I was inspired to make this card from another card marker. I have always loved the Little Twinkle stamp set and knew that this was more then just for babies. By combining it with the Well Said Bundle I'm telling my loved one that our love was written in the stars.      I heat embossed the background first then watercolored it.
