     Hey crafty people! How is your New Year going so far? We were in California on vacation visiting family as we do every year. Then the next day my husband ended up in hospital with an abscess in his face. He spent the next 4 days there as they drained it and pumped him full of antibiotics. We had to extend our vacation a few extra days. It has completely healed up now and he is doing so much better.      Each month I get the privilege of  being able to participate in a fun blog hop with other Stampin' Up! demos from around the world to bring you some inspiration and motivation to get crafting. Colorful Seasons Winter Card - Kylie's Demo Training Blog Hop

     Hello everyone! I'm Julie Kight and welcome to my blog. How is your week so far? Today for you I have a special treat...a blog hop! I am part of a special training group for Stampin' Up! demonstrators run by Kylie and Bruno Bertucci from Australia. They are such an amazing husband and wife team! For this blog hop I wanted something for the season and I had just seen this cool technique done by another demonstrator and wanted to try it myself.      The Colorful Seasons stamp set and Seasonal Thinlits are so versatile as they can be used for any season as there are stamps and dies for each one. To do the inking technique I used the Coastal Cabana reinker and the new Shimmer Paint from the Holiday Catalog. I dropped four drops of the paint on a piece of Watercolor Paper down one side and then I dropped one drop of the reinker on two of those paint drops. Magical Mermaid Birthday Card - Kylie's Training Blog Hop

   Hi crafty people! Welcome to Kylie's Demonstrator Training Monthly Blog Hop!!! I love doing this hop each month as it is always so fun to see what demos from around the globe have made. For me sometimes just seeing someone else's card design can inspire my next project. Does this happen to you too? I've decided since Summer has finally arrived that I wanted to use the Magical Mermaid stamp set and was so happy that it was carried over into the new 2019-2020 Annual catalog. Here is my card.....    The very first time I saw the Perennial Essence DSP (Designer Series Paper), and in particular this piece, I thought it looked like the water. The combo of the greens, blues, and purples is so beautiful and I knew I wanted to use it for this mermaid.    I used the Stampin' Blends to color her tail and hair.
