Hand Penned Petals Fall Inspired Thank You Card - Kylie's Demo Blog Hop

Hello crafty people!!! How is your September going so far? This year seems to be flying by. I can't believe that Fall (my fave season) and Halloween (my fave holiday) are just around the corner. I'm still in California right now helping my parents with some health issues as my mom now needs to have a full knee replacement. I miss my mountain Arizona weather. Today I have a fun blog hop for you all so let's get onto my Fall inspired card.....

I was so inspired by the colors from the new Blackberry Beauty DSP (Designer Series Paper) in the Stampin' Up! Aug-Dec Mini Catalog, I decided to do a watercolor with them. I started with doing the background and just plopping down the colors in a random design. I knew I was going to use the flower die from the Penned Flowers dies so I keep the watercoloring in a specific size. Once happy, I set it aside to dry.

Next, I created my sentiment piece by heat embossing onto a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. I die cut it out using the Rectangular Stitched dies. I glued the flower die to my watercolor background and then glued this whole piece to some Blackberry Bliss cardstock. I wrapped some Linen thread around and then popped my sentiment up with some Dimensionals. I added some of the Gilded Gems for sparkle, and then glued this whole piece to my Bumblebee card base.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping a flower design onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and gluing it to the inside of the card. And there you have it. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store. Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you to try something crafty! Don't forget to continue on with the blog hop below. Have a great day.

Hugs,
