Sweet As A Peach Thank You Card - Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Hello crafty people!!! How have you been? The weather is getting hot here in California. The last couple days we have hit 100°F. A really good reason to just stay in your cool craft room and craft all day, lol. Today I have a special blog hop with Stampin' Up! demo friends from around the world. This month's theme was "Favorite item from the new catalog" and I chose the Sweet As A Peach Suite. Let's get onto my card.....

One of my most fave techniques to do on my cards is to make my own DSP (Designer Series Paper), especially if funds are low or you can't find the right pattern that you like. I used the two stamps of the leaf branch and peaches on a piece of Basic White cardstock. I first stamped the branch and then peaches making sure I left room between each one. I'm loving the new In Color Pale Papaya as it's such a beautiful soft peach color. I layered this piece onto a piece of Pale Papaya cardstock.

Next, I heat embossed my sentiment onto a piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock and then die cut it out using the Ornate Frames dies. I folded a piece of the Open Weave ribbon in Pale Papaya behind my sentiment and then placed it on my card using Dimensionals. I glued this whole piece onto my Basic White Thick card base. I placed several of the Champagne rhinestones around my card front.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping my sentiment onto a piece of Basic White and gluing it to a piece of Pear Pizzazz and then the whole thing to the inside of the card. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you to try something crafty today! Don't forget to continue on with the blog hop below. Have a great day.

Hugs,
