Christmas Time Is Here Suite Christmas Card - Kylie's Training Blog Hop

Hello crafty people! I'm Julie Kight and welcome to my blog. Has your week started off good? Today for you I have a special treat...a blog hop! I am part of a special training group for Stampin' Up! demonstrators run by Kylie and Bruno Bertucci from Australia. They are such an amazing husband and wife team! I wanted to highlight the limited time Christmastime is Here Suite only available while supplies last. Here is my card.....

I wanted to do another watercoloring with this bundle, but this time do a nontraditional colors card. I first started by heat embossing on some watercolor paper with White Embossing Powder. I wanted to try a twist on the no-line watercolor technique.

Next I used the Aqua Painters and the ink pads to watercolor the different parts of the rose and leaves. I did have to hold the paper up to the light an little as it was hard to see where the lines were. I tried to keep the Aqua Painter more dry then wet to get precise application.

Once I was happy with the rose and leaves I used the Light Gray Granite Stampin' Blend to color in all the berries. I wanted to stay pretty neutral and let the rose be the center of attention.

I stamped the inside as well with my seasonal sentiment and some pine cones in two corners. I also added a Pear Pizzazz layer for some more color. If you would like to purchase any of the items  I used to make today's I have them all listed below (USA only).
Thank you so much for coming to my blog and checking out my card. Continue on with the blog hop to see what demos around the world have created too. Have a great day!

Here is what I used to make this card.....
