First Frost Card - Kylie's Training Group Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog! Today I am taking part in an international blog hop with several other Stampin' Up! demonstrators around the world. Fellow demonstrator Kylie Bertucci and her amazing husband Bruno offer this training group to help us demonstrators become the best they can and achieve their goals. I am learning so much! For this hop I wanted to use the new to me stamp set First Frost and matching dies. Here is my card...

I wanted to keep the colors mostly light with a few touches of Blackberry Bliss for contrast. I also wanted to make sure the card had some sparkle too. I heat embossed the background with the background stamp Sheet Music and Whisper White powder.

I also used a piece of the beautiful, shimmery Frosted Floral Specialty DSP (Designer Series Paper). Boy does this paper shine!!! All the prints are just amazing and will definitely be using some more. I also added some Silver Metallic Thread for a little something extra.

I kept the inside fairly simple but with a cute sentiment to someone special. This card may look difficult, but it was very easy to do. Thanks so much for looking at my card and post and don't forget to visit all the beautiful creations in this hop. Have a great day!

Here is what I used to make this card, click on any item to go to my shopping page to purchase the item!

I have a promotion running right now with this stamp set that if you purchase ALL 4 of the showcase items through me I will send to you a free card kit to make 2 of 3 different card designs and I will include an exclusive video of me assembling the cards that you will be able to follow along with and view at any time when you have a chance. Here is all the info. Sorry the free card kit is only available to US residents.

Here is a peak of what the cards look like!
When you place your order please use this host code ZU79GK3D so that I know to send you the free card kit. If your order goes over $150 then use the host rewards for yourself and I will still send you the kit. Thanks so much!

  1. I love this set! One of my favorites from the Holiday Catalog! Nice Job!

  2. What a pretty card Julie! I think all cards should have a little bling too!

  3. Very nice card. I love all that SHINE

  4. There are so many perfect details to love about this card - the musical background, the vellum, the glitter. It comes together beautifully!
