Beautiful Autumn Gift Box - Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Hey crafty people.....I'm back!!! It has been one crazy month. At the end of September my husband was sent to some job training and I came to my parents home to help while my dad has some medical issues looked at. Though I am enjoying being with my family again in California, I'm missing Arizona and my family there like crazy. I hope to be back home soon.
As this is my first blog in over a month I am going to start it off with a special blog hop with several Stampin' Up! demo friends from around the world and our theme this month is "Anything but a card." So let's get onto today's project.....

I decided that since we are unable to have Thanksgiving this year, like other years due to Covid, I would make these cute treat boxes to hand out to family and friends as "I'm grateful for you" gift. I started with using the Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes and cutting a piece of Very Vanilla to 3-3/4"x 5-1/2" and then embossing it with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. I glued it to the top of the box. I then cut 2 pieces of the Gilded Autumn DSP (Designer Series Paper) to 1"x 3-5/8" and 2 pieces to 1"x 5-1/2" and glued them to the sides.

I stamped and punched several of the leaves and acorns in the stamp set onto coordinating colors. I also punched out some of the leaves from the DSP as well. I stamped my sentiment onto Very Vanilla and then die cut it out. I glued it to the top of my box and then starting placing and gluing the leaves around the circle alternating between the leaf styles and colors. When I was happy with the way it looked I added the one acorn with a Dimensional and glued an Acorn Trinket on top.

For the inside I will add some fun Fall treats and what's really neat about these boxes is they are food safe. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you to try something crafty today! Don't forget to continue with the blog hop listed below. Have a great day.

Hugs,
