Hello Love Card

Hello everyone!! I am so sorry I have not posted in a LONG while. Life happened and took over everything! But now I am back with determination and focus of what I want in my life. So lets get on to today's post!
Today for you, I have a very beautiful card that

I made. I had just found the Global Design Project website and fell in love with it and discovered that this week's theme was #075-Winged Creatures so I knew I had to join in on the fun. I started with deciding I wanted to use the butterfly dies from Stampin' Up!. Next, I chose my paper and I have been dying to use the new 2017 Occasions catalog DSP called Falling In Love. This paper is to die for! I am all over anything pink and so this paper had my name written all over it. Also, from the new 2017 Occasions catalog that I used is the absolutely gorgeous new
Lace Doilies. These are so amazing, they are Very Vanilla on one side and Whisper White on the other. You can also sponge or spritz them in any of the Stampin' Up! colors. Lets get going with this card, I will list below everything I used on this card.

I started with a A2 sized card of Very Vanilla. (If you do not know what A2 size is it is a 8-1/2"x 11" piece of paper cut in half either horizontal or vertical. I will be cutting it horizontal. You now have two pieces that are 5-1/2"x 8-1/2". Take one of these pieces and fold it in half and you have a card that is 4-1/4"x 5-1/2" or a A2 sized card.) I used the Love Notes Framelits to cut
the right edge of the front of my card. Next, I cut a piece of Blushing Bride to 3-3/16"x 5-1/4", and a piece of the Falling In Love paper to 2-15/16"x 5". I glued the DSP(Designer Series Paper) to the Blushing Bride and then glued the whole thing to the card front.
I next used the SU stamp set Watercolor Wings to stamp out the larger butterfly onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock using the colors: Blushing Bride, Sahara Sand, and Early Espresso. I then used the Butterfly Thinlits Dies to cut it out. After, I cut it out I used Wink of Stella in clear on the edges of the wings and
some Pearl Jewels on the body.
Then, I used the Rose Garden Thinlits to cut out both the leaves in Pear Pizzazz and the banner in Very Vanilla. I stamped the banner with "Hello Love" using SU Sealed with Love stamp set in Blushing Bride and sponged Sahara Sand on the edges.
I put the card together starting with the leaves overlapping
each other. I used the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to hold them down. Then I placed a Lace Doily on top of the leaves using the same glue. Next, I put Stampin' Dimensionals on the butterfly and placed it on the Lace Doily. I put Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the banner and placed it in the upper right corner of the card. Finished!!
Well, almost...who likes to look into a plain card? Plus, when
the card is closed the pretty die cut hearts blend into the inside of the card. Who wants that? So I cut a strip of one of the pretty papers in the Falling In Love set to 1"x 5-1/4" and glued it down right inside on the right side of the card. Now, we are finished!
Here is everything I used on this card:
